Founding Members

Alex and Juliette met in September 2020 in the Google Innovator Academy. Due to the restrictions imposed by Covid-19 the academy had to be completed virtually, hence the acronym #VIA 2020. Early in this academy, Alex and Juliette found an affinity working together and decided to pivot and relinquish their original project ideas to pursue this project as a joint-venture. Both educators are passionate about liberating student voices, building a sense of purpose and empowerment in their participation in engaging in social issues as advocates, and watching their pupils develop skills and self efficacy.
